  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and gain in-depth knowledge of their business and needs.
  • Liaise with your colleagues in the Malaysia and Singapore branch offices to meet clients’ requests; ensure timely follow-up and delivery.
  • Manage retakaful quotation requests, including negotiation of commercial rates and terms and subsequent finalization of treaty wordings.
  • Promote Company’s services and propositions to existing and prospective clients.
  • Keep abreast of market developments and identify new business opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with industry and regulatory bodies.
  • Active participation in marketing activities and industry functions.
  • Role requires travel to client markets and within SEA.
  • Qualified actuary.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the actuarial department at a direct life company, reinsurance/retakaful company or related institution.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent commercial, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Above-average social skills and intercultural competence.
  • Driven mindset, with the ability to work independently.
  • Islamic Finance or Takaful experience preferred.
