RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, maintain, automate and enhance tools and reporting to perform analysis for the business, including sales, marketing and claims.
  • Maintain up to date documentation of processes and reporting.
  • Undertake to observe and comply with the company’s data privacy requirements and controls; support in delivering and embedding privacy controls; demonstrate the highest professionalism and ethics in the handling of personal data.
  • Participate in Data & Analytics projects as required to cover needs from business functions.
  • Maintain company databases to ensure they are updated and accurate.
  • Closely coordinate with IT to resolve data issues and analytic data requirements.
  • Provide coaching to junior staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Actuarial science or related discipline Experience in SQL.
  • From 3 to 5 years’ data-related experience.
  • Strong database management, ETL/engineering skills and practical experience in handling large amount of data.
  • Experienced in business intelligence / dashboarding, applying supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, and good command of their underlying assumptions and math’s.
  • Experienced in performing statistical testing and delivering statistical studies or projects.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or healthcare would be appreciated.
  • Knowledge of the following is desirable: SQL server, Power BI and Python.
  • For projects would also appreciate familiarity with Azure technology stack, Alteryx, Talend, Informatica, SAS, and R.
  • Familiarity with project management tools is appreciated.
  • Strong analytical skill, self-motivated and detail-minded.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and highest levels of integrity and trust.
  • Good command of English and Cantonese.
