  • Prepares monthly calculation of the Corporation’s IBNR reserves.
  • Submits annual Medicare ACR calculation, including all supporting analysis, or assist with Medicaid rate setting analysis.
  • Develops actionable recommendations to management relative to all analysis.
  • Calculates profitability reports on appropriate business segments.
  • Performs monthly analysis identifying opportunities to reduce cost and utilization.
  • Participates in cross functional teams to address key issues facing the organization.
  • Evaluates government reimbursement process to determine areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Participates in regional initiatives to improve operating results.
  • Initiates key analysis to improve overall MLR results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Required a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Preferred a Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Required Other combination of years of industry experience and exams passed under the Society of Actuaries Exam Syllabus equaling 5 or more.
  • Intermediate demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate demonstrated written communication skills.
  • Intermediate ability to analyze and interpret financial data in order to coordinate the preparation of financial records.
