RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing leadership in consolidation feedback, developing recommendations for improvements and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure solutions.
  • Implementing and managing resource planning to meet project and budget allocation requirements.
  • Assigning leads to projects and initiatives, including monitoring and adjusting priorities to ensure achievement of key performance indicators and strategic initiatives.
  • Building effective business relationships with key stakeholders and resolving complex product inquiries.
  • Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You have seven years of Home and Auto Product experience and five years of leadership experience.
  • You have post-secondary education in Insurance or a related discipline.
  • You have the Chartered Insurance Professional designation and having the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional designation is an asset.
  • You have strong knowledge of project management strategies, principles and discipline, organizational strategic goals and Actuarial rate making process.
  • You build trusting relationships and provide feedback to enable the successful development of your team and colleagues.
  • You foster innovation and continuous improvement with a focus on client experience.
  • You facilitate the adoption of change and create a high-performance culture through alignment of your team’s work with organizational goals.
  • You successfully convey messages and demonstrate openness to exploring alternative points of view.
  • You use critical thinking to guide decision making and apply a strategic mindset to adjust business plans based on shifting priorities.
