  • Complete data collection, reconcile and provide analysis of metrics to support the reporting of Top Risk Issues and Risk Profile versus Risk Appetite via the quarterly Risk Dashboard to ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management, the Board, OSFI and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with the preparation of reporting and analysis related to the annual risk assessment activities.
  • Analyze and scrutinize results to identify trends and risk issues and provide insights in order to support the process of defining risk appetite and risk limits including review and development of evolving key risk indicators.
  • Execute on the design and development of the quarterly Risk Dashboard Report to the Board, and other ERM reports as needed.
  • Lead the assembly of risk reporting items associated with various senior management and Board meeting preparations including the production of agendas and distribution of meeting materials, communicate and collaborate with business partners ensuring timeliness and completeness as well as follow through for action items.
  • Provide oversight to the maintenance of ERM Frameworks and Policies, ensuring consistency with ERM document standards and that the appropriate governance is followed including due dates and senior management/board approval, etc.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews for all written communications that originate from the ERM team.
  • Develop, maintain and organize ERM SharePoint sites, internal website and directories.
  • Having a University degree with a minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance or financial services.
  • Actuarial and / or Finance professional designation is required.
  • Advanced computing skills including spreadsheet design is required.
  • Experience specific to sourcing, compiling and storing data as well as conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis is required.
  • Related industry designations including Insurance and Risk Management specific certifications are an asset.
