RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and guide business intelligence capabilities by embedding best practices in data strategy performance reporting & analytics.
  • Develop efficient use of databases as well as synthesize various data sources.
  • Generate analytical models and present findings in reports and dashboards to provide users with detailed aptitude about the state of the business.
  • Progress, deliver and maintain application development systems that meet our business partners' needs.
  • Ensure the quality of our systems & the integrity of our data.
  • Lead for Direct Distribution the redesign of the reporting & analytics due to the new tool in Personal Lines.
  • Lead for Direct Distribution the project aiming at getting visibility on our customers’ omnichannel behavior to understand the impact of various initiatives.
  • Network with industry peers to share best practices in operating BI departments.
  • Communicate information to colleagues or personnel in a clear and effective manner.
  • Listen to concerns and address them promptly.
  • Ensure the engagement of the team and collaboration, coach and develop the employees.
  • Promote the sharing of learning within own team, other teams and peers.
  • Implement best practices from other teams and operations.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with various departments within the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor or a master’s degree in business administration, Mathematics/Actuarial, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in large companies.
  • Ability to examine statistical data to understand trends and derive insights.
  • Technical skills with regards to Relational Databases and Data Wrangling.
  • Thorough experience with language such as SQL Data Visualization, SAS and VBA.
  • Experience with Tableau, Data Statistics.
  • Distill complex and ambiguous data into digestible facts.
  • Comfortable and proficient in presenting to all levels of organization.
  • Analytical problem solver.
  • Outside the box thinker.
  • Have experience in developing a high performing team that have the correct mix of operational and analytical abilities.
