RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delivering capital and solvency position reporting, including change and balance sheet analysis.
  • Producing quarterly and annual QRTs.
  • Providing capital forecasting including solvency monitoring results.
  • Reporting on internal model validation output and risk management of the results.
  • Producing SST and Risk appetite results.
  • Taking accountability for all controls on the reporting process.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A strong understanding of the broad spectrum of actuarial calculations, developed through significant actuarial experience.
  • Solid experience and knowledge of Life Insurance financial reporting with preferably some General Insurance reporting knowledge.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills - confident in working with a senior management team which includes CEO, CFO, CRO, Boards etc.
  • Ability to manage and motivate teams and collaborate with colleagues across the wider actuarial team and the business.
  • Ability to distil and communicate large amounts of complex information, both financial and non-financial, and express it in clear terms.
  • Consistent track record of process delivery to a very high standard - being able to own processes from creation to completion.
