RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Client Management of certain Client accounts.
  • Assist Business Development & Pipeline Management.
  • Preparation of key marketing materials, credentials to support business development activities.
  • Deliver superior Project Management.
  • Serve as day-to-day project lead.
  • Client liaison and communication.
  • Maintain project plans, progression.
  • Oversee project delivery.
  • Ensure Professional Excellence and internal risk management standards are met.
  • Prepare thought leadership and other marketing materials.
  • Maintain strong discipline in data gathering, business intelligence, intellectual property development.
  • Perform ongoing industry and competitor analysis and identify key trends that effect our client’s businesses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Client Relationship Managers with subject matter expertise.
  • Support client relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects.
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of projects which meet or exceed client expectations, ensuring that they are delivered to time and on budget.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary consulting or joint client-consultant team to analyze issues and develop value-added solutions.
  • Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects.
  • Contribute and support local market teams in their project delivery.
  • Ensure project management excellence to ensure on-time delivery and quality that meets or exceeds not only our internal high standards but also client expectations.
  • Participate in regional and cross-functional teams, bringing technical expertise and promoting teamwork to ensure client satisfaction and profitable business growth.
  • Ensure projects on which you work achieve and maintain high professional standards.
  • Engender a continuous improvement culture.
  • Maintain and develop own technical and industry knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches.
  • Develop new business opportunities and proposals which both meet client needs and ensure that Company generates reasonable levels of profit.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • University Degree Required.
  • Commenced studies for an International Actuarial qualification.
  • Diversity in thought.
  • Fluency in English and one additional language. Cantonese and/or Mandarin could be an advantage.
  • Relevant work experience in either.
  • Experience in consulting firm or life insurer.
  • Experience in project management and delivery.
  • Market knowledge.
  • Preferably financial modelling skills.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Ability to use both written and oral communication to gain organizational support and enthusiasm for initiatives.
  • Ability to assess/analyse the business, economic and accounting/tax impact of proposed initiatives and to recommend the appropriate action.
  • Ability to understand broad business issues within financial services and their strategic implications to make sound business recommendations.
  • Ability to propose for, and win, profitable new business.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor more junior colleagues.
  • Self-driven achiever who values teamwork and collaboration, and exhibits decisiveness and integrity in all that they do.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, MS Word.
