RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists in the development of the annual audit plan and supports completion of the plan.
  • Leads the preparation and prepares individual audit plans to ensure that the scope, approach, resourcing and logistics of an audit are appropriately planned.
  • Obtains, analyses and syntheses information for identifying weaknesses and reporting on the adequacy of the internal control environment.
  • Grades the materiality of audit findings, identifies root causes and assesses the overall control risk and management awareness within the auditee business.
  • Identifies business process improvements for segments audited as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
  • Actuarial associate level or nearly qualified with work experience Actuarial, Risk or actuarial consulting involved in valuation, pricing, product development and capital management preferred.
  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • Ability to lead and manage an audit team.
  • Able to travel regionally.
