RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establishes effective working relationships throughout the organization, both at the corporate level and within the businesses.
  • Assists with:
  • Enterprise scenarios generation.
  • Economic Capital modeling and aggregation.
  • Risk Appetite reporting.
  • Capital market analytics.
  • Various governance structures.
  • Helps identify, measure and communicate total enterprise risk issues.
  • In conjunction with other risk management areas in the lines of businesses, helps develop, implement, monitor, and manage risk mitigation programs for the enterprise.
  • Researches and prepares briefings on status of key projects and initiatives to leaders.
  • Provides research and data analysis support.
  • Implements process improvements, consistency, governance, controls, and oversight.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in math, business or other quantitative field.
  • Other desirable training achieved or in process of attaining:
  • FSA/ASA and/or Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst designation.
  • FRM/PRM/CQF designations.
  • CFA designation.
  • 1-3+ Years’ experience in actuarial science that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Strong written/verbal communications and presentation skills.
  • High energy, self-motivated, with a high level of self-awareness.
  • Critical thinker with an ability to analyze highly technical information.
  • Computer skills:
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ALFA or similar projection software systems a plus.
  • Python, R, or other computer programming skills a plus.
  • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
