  • Partner with Speed-to-Market team, Compliance, Product Development, business unit leaders, and other actuarial colleagues to support the growth of our Small Commercial business.
  • Perform rate indications and impact analyses for admitted products to develop rate/LCM proposals at the individual state level to facilitate profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with Compliance to support rate and rule filings from actuarial perspective.
  • Perform competitor research and analyses to help business leaders make informed decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in actuarial science and insurance; no experience required.
  • Background in actuarial science, math/sciences, computer science, or other quantitative field.
  • Interest in and ability to complete the actuarial exams and achieve professional property & casualty actuarial credentials.
  • Curiosity, motivation, and ability to self-teach.
  • Problem-solving team player with leadership potential.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Hard-working, detail-oriented person who takes pride in owning their work, and is committed to quality of thought and accuracy.
  • Productive in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • VBA, SQL, SAS or other database skills preferred.
