  • Continuously monitor the financial health and business results across various dimensions.
  • Aggregate results split by customer groups and product groups.
  • Coordinate with Actuarial Analytics in monitoring of emerging financial and demographic experience, and recommend remedial action where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Modelling teams to ensure that the approved methodology and assumptions are implemented accurately.
  • Provide insightful analytics and movement analysis on the IFRS financial results, which leads to actionable plans and strategies to enhance the business performance.
  • Prepare for actuarial items under various reporting basis for various stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress against plan and recommend actions to the Chief Actuary, Chief Financial Officer and Management to optimize risk and return of the business.
  • Lead, handle and coordinate regular updates on a short term forecast of business results and identify potential risk areas in the short and medium term.
  • Drive and coordinate the annual operating plan process to provide credible and insightful information to senior management in devising appropriate business strategy and setting targets.
  • Coordinate and prepare regulatory filings to authorities and industry bodies, including forms and dynamic solvency test.
  • Lead, handle and coordinate the audit and compliance activities from External Audit and External Review and act as key contributor to those from Internal Audit, Independent Model Review and Compliance.
  • Ensure Proper Governance and oversee the development, operation and validation of IFRS models.
  • Lead the implementation the future operational model for IFRS 17 Reporting for Actuarial, including Cashflow, Modelling, Roll forward and Forecasting methodology, Analytical tools for Contractual Service Margin.
  • University degree holder in relevant discipline.
  • Fellow of Society of Actuaries or other recognised actuarial body.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of planning and problem solving.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to bring analytical rigour and structure and effective solutions to poorly defined problems.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills.
