RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To play a leadership role in the management of the in force businesses by leading various projects related to product development and in force management to support the execution and delivery of the Product strategy and solutions to our customers.
  • Lead any business or technical analysis for the full range of insurance products that exists within our product portfolio, with focus on annuity, whole life, and universal life products, in order to support day to day maintenance activities including incidents, compliant handling, or any product enquiries.
  • Work closely with project work groups to deliver on respective business growth to deliver the agreed Product roadmap and product strategy.
  • Own the data management or regular MI reporting on the in force portfolio and conduct product analysis or investigation for the purpose of risk and performance management.
  • Lead the remediation and risk mitigation activities on any assigned incidents or complaint handling.
  • Lead the delivery of any ad hoc product tasks or duties related to regulatory or any internal governance processes as assigned by Line Manager.
  • Identify and report any potential product or system issues that may impact the company, distributions and customers and provide recommendation on resolutions or lead the remediation process.
  • Work closely with all key stakeholders from Group and Local Office and related teams to identify, share and promote new product ideas or best practices across the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, business or related field.
  • Solid years of experience in financial services, particularly insurance products retailing to different segment of customers via multiple distribution channels.
  • Proven analytical, planning and strategic management experience within a product, marketing and strategy function or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of managing support to diversified team with multiple objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills coupled with a high and demanding benchmark.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to influence, engage and lead in a positive and inspiring manner.
  • Ability to think strategically in line with company vision.- Ability to build long term relationships and manage all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate complexities.
