RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Co-ordinating and managing projects. Typically, working on smaller projects/assignments.
  • Assisting in the delivery of larger projects.
  • Implementing company policy and contributing to the attainment of functional results.
  • Ensuring the quality of tasks/services provided by colleagues, involving regular process checks or the reviewing of output by a co-worker and/or supervisor.
  • Co-ordinating and overseeing work for a small team, to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Providing advice and assistance through the application of acquired knowledge.
  • Providing general guidance/direction to mentor members of the team or develop their skills.
  • Lead the production of valuation reporting on IFRS basis, local statutory basis and new business.
  • Produce source of earning analysis and able to explain the underlying drivers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate business forecast and regulatory submission.
  • Provide technical support to develop junior staff in the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • University graduate in Actuarial Science, Risk Management or related discipline.
  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary in the Society of Actuaries or other equivalent actuarial organization.
  • 4-6 years of actuarial work experience.
  • Experience in corporate actuarial may be an advantage.
  • Strong self-motivation with ability of working effectively under pressure and commitment to process improvements.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
