RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the preparation and submission of rate applications in accordance with regulatory requirements and assist in providing support to associated regulatory requests.
  • Update the rate manual pages.
  • Assist with automobile insurance trends analyses and the rate indications as needed.
  • Produce work of a high standard which is accurate and timely; and document all work product clearly and fully.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • University or college degree.
  • With ability to communicate ideas and decisions clearly and effectively, with particular emphasis on strong written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Great attention to details, strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to be flexible, learn quickly and adapt to changes in technology and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Assets:
  • University or college degree in mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science.
  • Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, specifically related to automobile insurance.
  • Experience in or knowledge of the automobile insurance rate regulations and filing guidelines in Canada.
  • Experience using data and exhibits.
