  • Support the Partner & Lead in developing conceptual solutions to industry problems and client projects.
  • Both independently and under the guidance of the Partner & Lead, carry out actuarial research and consulting projects which develop Company’s Intellectual Property.
  • Independently complete client deliverables to the highest quality, commensurate with Company’s value proposition and client expectations.
  • Lead, develop and coach a small team of actuarial analysts and data scientists and champion the growth of the team by supporting ongoing talent acquisition efforts.
  • Collaborate with, and support the Partner & Lead in developing client proposals and designing pitch presentations.
  • Give presentations at industry conferences and write / contribute to scientific papers and thought leadership articles.
  • Maintain and build a network of industry contacts and identify opportunities for new business.
  • Manage a small number of high-value client relationships and develop ties to these clients at the working level and the management level.
  • Work with our global teams to support wider consultancy projects.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science / Mathematics / Statistics or other quantitative discipline with a focus on quantitative methods.
  • Experience leading and developing actuarial students and analysts, enjoys training and teaching.
  • Experience leading client projects independently with timely delivery of high quality conceptual and technical content.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technically accomplished with proven ability to quickly absorb new concepts and convert them into value-added client solutions.
  • Ability to communicate with senior management and present technical material to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent organisational skills and great time management with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong people management skillset, with the ability to clearly set expectations and coach and develop a team accordingly.
  • High attention to detail and high quality standards.
  • Curious, flexible and learning-oriented.
  • Demonstrable comfort with quantitative analytics and conceptual thinker.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently and use initiative whilst collaborating across geographies and time zones.

  • Proficient in multiple programming languages, such as R, C# and Python, as well as the MS Office suite of tools.
