  • Manages client relationships with typical annual billings well in excess of $100,000.
  • Performs marketing and business development activities.
  • Manages major projects and client assignments.
  • Actively participates in firm and employee improvement efforts.
  • Contributes to the enhancement of the firm’s operations.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Actuarial credentials are required: Both a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the Academy of Actuaries, is preferred.
  • Strong actuarial skills, including in-depth understanding of actuarial theory and techniques as applied to the health care industry.
  • Experience in developing reserves, rate setting, and projecting costs for group health plans.
  • Full understanding of health insurance and managed care products, practices and techniques.
  • Technologically proficient: willingness and ability to learn and become knowledgeable in.
  • Strong project management skills: hands-on management of multiple projects, mentoring/coaching, ability to pay attention to details and be well organized.
  • Effective presentation skills with experience speaking in front of clients and large audiences.
  • A person who is willing to roll up his or her sleeves, and get the job done.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of team.
