RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop actuarial models for local valuation and reporting to head office.
  • Work closely to Group actuarial on IFRS 17 implementation.
  • Perform valuation of insurance liabilities, stress test and business planning projections.
  • Support asset-liability management and solvency monitoring.
  • Support the preparation of budget and business plan forecasts.
  • Perform reinsurance accounting for individual life insurance business.
  • Support in ad-hoc projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree-holder, or has made reasonable progress in actuarial examinations.
  • 3 - 7 years of actuarial experience, with strong valuation and reporting experience.
  • Strong knowledge about Singapore RBC and other reporting requirements that life insurers in Singapore have to comply with, and traditional embedded value.
  • Strong programming skills; and proficient in Prophet.
  • Experience in IFRS 17 is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skill.
  • Willing to be hands-on.
