RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing the schedule, scope, resource planning, risk and quality of multi-discipline projects, while maintaining productive working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Overseeing business activities, including proposal and business process development, requirements definitions, user acceptance planning and execution, communication, training and support.
  • Participating in the planning process to align objectives with organizational priorities and maximize resource utilization and results.
  • Integrating change management activities, communicating plans and providing status updates, negotiating with key project stakeholders and offering input to project teams.
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of project management methods, techniques, processes and practices through active participation in Project Manager practice meetings and annual goal setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You have 6-10 years of project management experience, including 10 years of experience in Actuarial, BI, Information or Business Systems or related profession and 5 years of experience working in a leadership role.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Mathematics or Computer Science.
  • You have an Advanced Certificate in Project Management, Project Management Professional designation or equivalent certification.
  • You have strong knowledge of project management practices and methodologies and successful project life cycle experience, including business systems expertise.
  • Having the Scrum Master Certification is an asset.
  • You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.  
  • You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
  • You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view. 
  • You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.
