  • Communicates directly with brokers or senior team leaders on client's needs and advises on reinsurance programs based on risk tolerance level and industry trends.
  • Performs calculations using specialty models with client data to assess a range of risk exposures and predict outcomes for clients.
  • Interprets and analyzes client data to assist senior actuaries in evaluating reinsurance programs.
  • Checks client data for reasonability, sets up experience and exposure rating and shares output in support of reinsurance transaction process.
  • Mentors junior team members to help understand effects of loss liabilities that may impact client.
  • Builds MetaRisk analysis independently and understands how to use the model to explain assumptions and outcomes.
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience.
  • Completion of at least 3 actuarial exams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field.
  • Coding experience in utilizing programming languages.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
