RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Take lead role in migration of Valuation System to Prophet.
  • Manage small team to support this system migration.
  • Support model build partners with coding and creating data, output, and reports.
  • Take lead role in UAT and System Integration Testing of model components once build is complete.
  • Develop strong knowledge of current Valuation model and methods.
  • Develop and maintain single cell validation spreadsheets.
  • Support other key responsibilities of the team including monthly, quarterly, and Year End valuation and reporting, and Annual Assumption Review.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • FSA or ASA.
  • 5+ years’ experience with variable annuities and indexed annuities experience preferred.
  • Programming skills and experience with modern actuarial software is required.
  • Familiarity with Statutory and/or TAX financials and reserving methods.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to working in a team environment, co-lead multiple projects, and resolve conflicting priorities.
