  • Analyze regulatory and business requirements for the development of multiline data validation quality checks and implementation of changes to data management and reporting systems.
  • Furnish technical specifications for IT development and manage the creation and execution of detailed test plans to validate system changes against functional and quality assurance requirements.
  • Promote and execute quality service by following data quality and customer service standards; analyze and resolve customer data problems; identify trends; and provide suggestions for improvement in data quality review procedures.
  • Develop more efficient, automated ways to improve data quality and error detection processes and systems.
  • Assist with the development of our system modernization roadmap through the creation of case studies and detailed test plans to validate the migration of existing processes to modernized platforms.
  • Create queries and extract information from Internal Databases.
  • Build and maintain proper documentation, procedures and guidelines.
  • Prioritize business needs and make considered decisions while handling multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in data analytics, data science, economics, or a related field.  
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge and experience with programming languages such as R, Python, XML/JSON and traditional languages such as SQL, Java.
  • Three to five years of Property & Casualty insurance experience a must.
  • Professional insurance exams such as CPCU, IDMA, CAS, etc.
  • Knowledge of Greenplum, Snowflake and Jupyter a major plus.
  • Experience working within an Agile framework.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and adjust plans in the face of changing priorities.
  • Capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Passion for problem solving.
