  • Preparation of investor communication materials regarding quarterly financial results.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Committee members and their teams to develop the communication strategy and key messages for quarterly financial reporting.
  • Develop and draft the earnings press release, slides, speaker notes and Q&A.
  • Assess the investment community’s sentiment and expectations for the quarter and communicate them to senior management.
  • Act as one of the primary contacts for institutional shareholders and sell-side financial analysts for follow-up questions related to the financial results.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to IR team members on various deliverables, such as slides and speaking notes used during the earnings conference call/webcast, company fact sheets, analyst preview reports, post-call summary reports, etc.
  • Coordinate closely with the Treasury Department as required, namely with respect to Rating Agency relationship management.
  • Contribute to planning and implementation of a comprehensive IR marketing and shareholder engagement plan, including:
  • The annual IR plan for the Board of Directors and detailed marketing schedule.
  • The identification of key global investor targets.
  • The supporting materials related to non-deal roadshows and investor meetings and conferences, including slides, key messages and investor profiles.
  • Support executives during investor meetings / events, which requires occasional travel.
  • Review external financial disclosure documents to ensure investor needs are met.
  • Play a leading role in communicating with the investment community, including institutional shareholders and sell-side financial analysts.
  • Work with the Global Head of Investor Relations to provide senior management and the Board of Directors with quarterly reports including institutional shareholder analysis and share performance analysis.
  • Develop and enhance processes & procedures to support an effective and efficient IR program.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, as required.
  • Participate in ad hoc or special projects as required.
  • Degree in business/finance/accounting/actuarial.; CFA or MBA is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of financial and capital markets.
  • Solid understanding of the insurance business is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of company’s products and distribution strategies is desirable.
  • Solid analytical capability; financial modeling experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment; prioritizing tasks to meet client demands & changing market conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and well-developed relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the proven ability to meet tight deadlines and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build the trust and confidence of senior professionals, both internally and externally; able to interact effectively with all levels of senior management.
