RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, maintain and / or improve our pricing models efficiently taking into account the realities of the region.
  • Understand the implications of the proposed changes to our business units in order to be able to anticipate potential problems and present the proposed changes, the pace of these changes and the implementation of approved rates.
  • Conduct, plan and organize project developments or pricing reviews while assuming the leadership team.
  • Maintain a good overall knowledge of the company to effectively communicate the results to different target business units.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of updating of actuarial controls for CEO / CFO Certification.
  • Contributes to the annual planning process by providing information on rates, loss trends, eligible loss ratios and other changes.
  • Responds to external actuarial information requests related to pricing.
  • Oversee the selection and development of highly skilled, efficient and committed team members. Develop and train staff and create a positive and motivating work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or mathematics.
  • ACAS title.
  • Seven years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
  • Knowledge of computer software is required for the performance of this functions.
