  • Business Development:
  • Originate Financial Solutions Life business throughout SEA markets.
  • Systematically develop and maintain relationships with key Client decision makers related to: Savings, Retirement and Investment product development.
  • Management of portfolios with embedded financial market risks.
  • Corporate finance / capital management needs involving financial market risks.
  • Market Financial Solutions Life’s capabilities through external media, trade organizations, and industry conferences.
  • Deal Execution:
  • Conduct detailed actuarial and/or financial analyses, including technical calculations.
  • Explanation of transaction terms to clients and managing external deliverables.
  • Co-ordination with internal Deal Team, external Clients, and relevant 3rd parties across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Facilitate internal deal approvals processes.
  • Qualified or close to qualified actuary preferred.
  • About 10 years of work experience in Life Insurance in either Actuarial Consulting, Risk Management or Product Management.
  • Strong understanding of technical actuarial calculations.
  • Excellent University Degree.
  • Very good capital market knowledge and understanding of financial products.
  • Excellent understanding of Life Insurance business across SEA markets.
  • Ability to network and possess excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Very good presentation skills, particularly for technical materials.
  • Motivation to work in a multi-cultural team.
  • Creativity, independent, reliable and consistent working style but still a good team player.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Willingness to travel.
