RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in the analysis and understanding of the guiding principles of IFRS 17.
  • Lead the actuarial modelling of IFRS 17.
  • Define new reporting processes and review the responsibilities of Finance, Actuarial and Risk management.
  • Identify and implement necessary modifications to the existing systems.
  • Participate in the implementation of new reporting systems.
  • Represent the company in discussions/negotiations with regulatory bodies.
  • Ad hoc requests on various Corporate Actuarial topics.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science.
  • ACAS or FCAS designation is an asset.
  • Minimum of 7 years of actuarial experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in effectively working within a multisite team and collaborating with several business partners.
  • Sense of accountability and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Good change management as well as tact and diplomacy.
  • Customer-driven.
  • Working proficiency in English is required; bilingualism is an asset.
