RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Strategic Asset Allocation work and support the department’s role as secretariat for ALCO. This would include analyzing the results, make recommendation based on analysis, and prepare presentation of analysis and results.
  • Managing data, running model for results, maintaining and enhancing the models for changes and make it efficient.
  • Support the department’s role as secretariat for the Asset Liability Management Committee, to arrange meetings, prepare meeting material, draft minutes of the meetings, follow up of items and coordinate between Actuarial, Finance, Investment, Risk and Group Capital Management and other Group functions as necessary.
  • Support Economic Capital reporting and work with Group Office as necessary. This will include managing data, model, analysis and presentation.
  • Support projects to improve or accelerate the reporting process and timeline.
  • Provide good suggestions to improve our processes and way of doing things.
  • Support work on ICS testing, work closely with Group Actuarial.
  • Support various company initiatives and financial proposals as assigned.
  • Prepare financial data and provide insight and financials with recommendations to support projects, perform feasibility test, provide recommendation and assist on implementation.
  • Communicate, coordinate and negotiate effectively with the various stakeholder.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities periodically assigned by HOD in order to fulfill responsibilities under Actuarial department’s care.
  • Guide and train junior staff supporting him/her on work or projects assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics.
  • At least 5 - 8 years of actuarial working experience.
  • Excellent technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and positive working attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Prophet, Microsoft Excel, other MS Office programs.
