  • Covers the data governance, structure, and model aspects of strategic financial planning, reserving methodologies, development of claims analytics, proactive assessment of reinsurance effectiveness, and compensation modeling.
  • Must collaborate well with others to develop and implement changes, following up with educating others through successful change management.
  • Will work closely with other actuaries on the Group Finance and Pricing teams, as well as with the leadership team, Corporate Actuarial, Claims, and reinsurance partners.
  • Will serve as a thought leader on the team.
  • Must monitor developments in actuarial techniques applicable to the business; likewise, the candidate must develop a thorough understanding of company operations, developments in the industry, and available research studies that impact the product space.
  • A Bachelor's degree, FSA or near-FSA, and 3+ years of full-time actuarial experience is required.
  • Experience with the Group products is preferred but not required.
  • Will possess the ability to take a complex problem and synthesize a model with little direction.
  • Will also have cross-functional collaboration skills, be very responsive, and proactively seek alignment.
