RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform quarterly reserving analysis and deliver IBNR required upload.
  • Develop improvements in methods and procedures as necessary to improve efficiency of reserving procedures and to meet requirements of the processes.
  • Prepare and deliver reporting exhibits and commentary to Central Reserving using Group Standard tools.
  • Prepare local reporting exhibits including CEO Exhibits, Underwriting Year Performance Charts quarterly, underwriting discussion and for board meetings.
  • Provide Finance supports for local regulatory reporting.
  • Actively engage with Finance during the closing processes.
  • Stop Loss Monitoring calculation for reporting.
  • Monitor catastrophe losses as well as large Loss analysis and report quarterly or on an ad hoc basis, if required.
  • Deliver IT and home office support Risk Model, VBM data, Solvency II filing etc.
  • Perform other duties and participate in group project as may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial science, Mathematics or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of P&C actuarial work experience.
  • Experience with reserving and reinsurance preferred.
  • Well organized and works well under very tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Excellent computer ability and Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven business acumen and problem solving skills.
  • Sound analytical and integrative skills.
