  • Runs actuarial models within assigned areas.
  • Performs actuarial research.
  • Analyzes and reports results to actuarial staff.
  • Prepares and presents actuarial calculations related to product pricing, valuation, or risk management.
  • Compiles, analyzes and reports on data for use in actuarial processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or math/statistics required.
  • May have 2-4 exams completed in pursuit of ASA designation.
  • With typically 0-2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Has basic/conceptual knowledge of Actuarial work.
  • Experience with actuarial modeling software such as MG ALFA or GGY AXIS desired.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Access and VBA.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and personal accountability.
  • Works within guidelines and direction to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Adjusts to changing events and priorities; displays a positive approach.
  • Builds collaborative and cooperative relationships; balances customer needs with the best interests of the company.
