RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will lead client engagements and opportunities for pension and/or benefit actuarial services.
  • You will also direct the technical and business aspects of actuarial engagements for existing and prospective clients.
  • Team and client leadership, ability to mentor and grow the actuarial team, and develop strong connections across the firm are some of the other key responsibilities.
  • Be responsible for leading and overseeing key actuarial engagements and business development efforts relating to pension audit support, mergers and acquisitions, valuation and other pension advisory services.
  • Develop innovative new service offerings.
  • Within the firm and across the industry, advance the actuarial knowledge and practice in the areas we work in.
  • Generate and manage actuarial services revenues.
  • Identify opportunities for the company Reward and other services.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10 to 15 years of well-rounded progressive pension and/or benefit experience.
  • FSA / FCIA designation.
  • Strong project management skills and business development/marketing experience within a professional environment.
  • Solid actuarial skills as well as ability to interpret actuarial concepts and results in the business context.
  • Ability to share knowledge and motivate team as well as initiative to stay abreast of current trends and technical advancements.
  • Ability to innovate to adapt to the market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel when necessary.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment.
  • Sound professional judgement and high level of professionalism.
