RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Catastrophe capital calculation using our internal aggregation tool including communication to stakeholders’ catastrophe reporting and communication Cat Limit system monitoring and reporting and communication to management, capital model development, refinement of analytical tools for sensitivity testing and analyses around externally placed reinsurance.
  • Solvency II related topics around cat capital assessment.
  • Management and coordination of cat related activities for assigned portfolio of the company Operating entities.
  • Support and service the Operating entities in the provision and upload of Cat Risk Exposures to the company Cat Risk Data Ware House including quality control and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Academic background and degree in Mathematics, Physics or natural sciences required experience in insurance industry.
  • Know-how of cat modeling vendor tools from RMS and AIR welcome but not required.
  • Above average communication skills and experienced in communication to senior management, external stakeholders, non-technical professionals.
  • Customer centric mind-set.
  • Data analysis skills: MS-ACCESS, SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide if possible, Igloo Programming skills.
  • Team player in international team.
  • Fluent in English, German and other languages welcome
