  • Focus on complex data retrieval and manipulation, advanced predictive modeling, advanced dynamic financial modeling, and producing decisions based upon the analysis.
  • Represent Actuarial Services in inter-department teams, knowing when to provide answers to questions and when to bring issues to management.
  • Trains less experienced analysts on spreadsheets, databases, and sources of data used in analyses.
  • Manage more complicated projects, including developing methods/templates.
  • Work with various departments internally.
  • Completed 4-year degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field, or the equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ actuarial or statistical analysis experience.
  • Master’s Degree in statistics or related field may be substituted for exam experience.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills and database knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with Excel, Access, VBA, SAS, Python or R is desired.
  • Modeling experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must possess aptitude for data manipulation and software engineering.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for business, technology, and/or project management roles.
