RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop innovative tools for data collection, treatment and modelling.
  • Develop operational use of satellite products to complete the company property database and enhance the CAT risk analysis and modeling.
  • Implement data analytics best-practices to assess the data accuracy and reliability.
  • Interpretation and effective communication of result.
  • Launch and coordinate collaboration with teams.
  • Assess CAT risks for operational entities.
  • Provide a technical support to local entities around the collection of their exposure data.
  • Assess CAT risks associated to these exposures using dedicated catastrophe modelling tools.
  • Adapt the current models to the business.
  • Deliver a company view of the gross risk for several entities enabling them to purchase adequate reinsurance in line with their risk appetite.
  • Infuse, diffuse and leverage CAT expertise.
  • Support the P&C risk assessment related to CAT risks.
  • Participate in the company’s response to climate risks and their evolutions, within its corporate responsibility framework.
  • Foster collaboration with research laboratories and academic work.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD/Master’s Degree/Engineer in hazard related subject, mathematics or statistics.
  • Robust data treatment skills collection, transformation and mining.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Interest in the business fields related to re/insurance.
  • French and Business English - fluent.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a relevant field.
  • Analytical skills / Ability to evolve in a diverse technical environment.
  • Team work / project management abilities.
  • Motivated by an international and dynamic environment.
  • Autonomy.
