  • Maintain and run models for use in profit testing, reserving, calculation of economic capital, and forecasting.
  • Implementation and maintenance of Model Governance framework. Improving model-related processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide preliminary analysis and evaluation of model sensitivity results. Validate, format and present results in an appropriate manner for senior actuary review.
  • Perform coding changes to software that meet prescribed standards, assist in the regression and UAT testing of software coding changes, and complete documentation.
  • Support of ad hoc projects.
  • Demonstrate sufficient progress and maintain good standing in actuarial student program.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent data-manipulation skills.
  • Good time management and project management skills.
  • Ability to execute on multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Microsoft PC software: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, VBA.
  • Minimum of two actuarial exams from the Society of Actuaries with the intent to be credentialed.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Risk Agility FM, MoSes, or other actuarial modelling software.
  • Expertise in data analytics programs, e.g. R, SQL, etc.
  • Experience in coding, especially actuarial software.
  • 2 years’ actuarial experience.
