RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review Source of earnings, Statutory reporting, Embedded value and New Business Value reporting.
  • Conduct business planning and forecast on main financial metrics.
  • Maintain and enhance financial valuation system.
  • Construct and maintain Solvency at Risk appetite measures, through the use of stress scenarios.
  • Perform Risk Capital calculation and maintain the models.
  • Asset & Liability Management Function: Oversee ALM analysis.
  • Review experience factors, study proper assumptions and methodology for actuarial valuation.
  • Forecast Liquidity and advice for necessary remedy plans.
  • Manage risks arise from Asset Liability mismatching.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree holder in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in actuarial operation within a life insurance organization.
  • Prior valuation experience.
  • Knowledge of life products in local market.
  • Knowledge in RBC, ALM and GN16 will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and presentation skills, and proficient in both English and Chinese.
  • Highly developed analytical, actuarial, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to lead projects.
