RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Will be responsible for generating the opportunities and delivering the work in collaboration with the regional consulting team, country brokers, cross LOB functions, global ICG teams and Portfolio Management teams.
  • Responsible for contributing to regional consulting strategy/vision for Asia, articulation of this to team members and tangible action items.
  • Defining key goals and setting sales targets for the team.
  • Team management, leadership, mentorship, training, career development.
  • Management of performance management process.
  • Act as the Consulting subject matter expert on regional & local health issues, financing options, financial wellness, benefit needs, opportunities, challenges, upcoming health care and legislative agenda.
  • Building up a market presence/brand via speaking engagements, affiliated with local chamber of commerce and associations.
  • Bring consulting discipline to large broking accounts.
  • Consulting opportunities identified, sold and delivered.
  • Partner with the local health leaders in the respective markets in Asia for development of local consulting strategy and execution.
  • Training members of the consulting / broking team; increasing their awareness and enabling them to articulate the value and services to clients and having them support the delivery of projects.
  • Provide management, mentoring and coaching to project team members.
  • Contributing as a subject matter expert to the health care related sales initiatives and consulting projects such as benefit plan redesign, benchmarking studies, alternative funding arrangements, health & wellness strategies, analytics style projects.
  • Activities in the above encompasses the development of the benefit or total rewards strategy, vendor evaluations, selection and review, evolving the existing programs and MMB’s approach to TPA, HM vendor evaluations, onsite clinic reviews, care management consulting services, lifestyle interventions, insurer capabilities.
  • Supporting regional / global product development and sales.
  • Developing approaches localized for the needs of the countries.
  • Contributing to and supporting regional/local marketing innovative first to market initiatives inclusive of the development and execution.
  • Create marketing presence, locally and regionally.
  • Relationship Manager for key accounts.
  • Be accountable for revenue and profitability of client accounts and projects
QUALIFICATIONS
  • University or College graduate and 10 years or more of industry experience.
  • Equivalent consulting experience.
  • Learning agility.
  • Critical & logical thinking capabilities.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Analytical.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Can interpret data.
  • Understand funding arrangements.
  • Plan designs.
  • Health management best practices.
  • Strong project management skills.

  • Actuarial background preferred.
  • Confident at interacting with Client Relationship Managers.
  • Ability to establish relationship with accredited HMO Providers and clinics.
