  • Will have experience applying modern machine learning techniques to NLP problems in areas such as text classification, representation learning, named entity recognition, information extraction, structured prediction, topic modeling, and semi-supervised learning.
  • Key problems may be related to automating various customer service operations, such as responses to emails or phone calls, algorithmic measurement of customer sentiment and other attributes of audio recordings, predicting development of reported as well as unreported claims, fraud detection, and other exciting initiatives.
  • 3+ years of industry experience applying NLP techniques to real world problems OR PhD-level research experience in NLP.
  • Strong programming skills, especially Python.
  • Preferred:
  • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Statistics.
  • Experience with state of the art methods for natural language and speech processing.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch.
