RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To manage submission of reports to meet the company and Group Head Office requirements, i.e. IFRS, NBP, EV reporting, etc.
  • To manage submission of reports to meet local statutory reporting requirements, RBC, FCR, ITCL, Capital Management Plan, Stress Testing, etc. for both Family.
  • To conduct financial projection to help in the company budgeting for Financial Planning.
  • To manage key stakeholders for Regional reporting.
  • To manage key stakeholders for local statutory reporting.
  • To conduct Retakaful Administration for Family and Takaful business.
  • To carry out any ad-hoc project to assist in business strategy decision making.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree and/or Professional Qualification in Actuarial Sciences.
  • Candidates who are qualified or near to qualified with a broad range of technical skills and experiences across the actuarial spectrum of work.
  • At least 8 years related working experience in Takaful or Insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of Takaful model and products and the local regulatory framework will be an advantage.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • IT literate and well versed in actuarial software and Microsoft Office application.
  • Well versed in English.
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Driven by high desire to acquire knowledge and to deliver results.
  • Displays high level of trust and sense of responsibility.
  • Able to manage multiple senior key stakeholders.
