RESPONSIBILITIES
  • One of the key contributors to the practice strategy and vision.
  • Originating business across multi-faceted products and service offerings.
  • Taking ownership of a select client portfolio and leading the team to execute on existing recurring projects.
  • Initiating and leading marketing efforts including speaking engagements to promote our practice.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant actuarial experience, preferably in audit.
  • Experience working as actuarial specialist on SEC and PCAOB audit engagements required.
  • Experience with risk management and compliance requirements for audit firms.
  • Experience with P&C reserving techniques, particularly related to reinsurance and M&A.
  • Experience with catastrophe modelling and risk transfer solutions, including ILS.
  • Familiar with US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Pursuing exams with Casualty Actuarial Society or equivalent.
  • Mature outgoing personality, enjoying initiating and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Driven and capable of identifying and originating business opportunities for actuarial consultancy.
  • Performance oriented, time and project management skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple clients/ projects and multiple deadlines.
