  • Perform premium and loss and LAE claim reserve reviews to assess the quality of relevant balance sheet items for various reporting standards such as statutory, IFRS and Solvency II.
  • Be technically proficient using actuarial techniques in order to both implement and to mentor team members around the world.
  • Propel the Smart Circle and be a strategic business partner by driving the business through deliberate and thoughtful information sharing across departments using an actuarial perspective.
  • Promote, facilitate and drive global projects with diverse teams across the world by working remotely and in person through occasional travel.
  • Support the global harmonization of the actuarial function with a positive attitude towards change.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent combination of work and education experience.
  • 7 years of related actuarial experience in the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency with SQL, MS Excel, ResQ, R and relational databases.
  • Self-starter who can make project proposals and lead teams in line with company strategy.
  • Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society or qualification from internationally recognized actuarial association; FCAS or equivalent preferred.
