RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Extract, reconcile and analyze raw data.
  • Create predictive models for auto and property products across Canada.
  • Perform segmentation, loss cost and retention analyses.
  • Review competitive data and develop models to analyze competitor behavior.
  • Document actuarial pricing process and models.
  • Provide and present business recommendations to different stakeholders.
  • Create analysis to monitor performance of models in production.
  • Help the team to become an industry leader in embedding advanced modeling techniques in the customer journey.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Math or Statistics.
  • 4-6 CAS exams.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical background.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in programming.
  • Experience with modeling software such as R, Emblem or Radar is an asset.
  • Experience in non-linear modeling is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate well and present ideas/decisions clearly.
  • Adaptable, team player with client service skills.
  • 3-4 years of P&C experience with at least 2 years of predictive modeling experience.
