RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contributes to client projects through building and/or updating spreadsheets, programming and checking code, reviewing and documenting work.
  • Requires ability to work on several projects at once (typically 2 – 4 projects) and interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Increased role in projects with a progression toward more of a review function
  • Review, organize and analyze statistical data.
  • Develop and utilize actuarial models.
  • Analyze healthcare costs and utilization data.
  • Manage client relationships; write reports
  • Continued progress on actuarial exams is expected.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors or better in Actuarial Science or related field.
  • Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity
  • Team Player: Works well as a member of a group
  • Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
  • At least one year in the health care field desired
  • All candidates should have results-driven orientation, good writing and speaking skills, the ability to balance several projects at once, proficiency with spreadsheets and database applications (Microsoft Office products), and an understanding of programming (SAS/SQL)
