RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner to understand needs, propose solutions, lead the execution of projects as subject matter expert, and clearly convey progress final delivery of results.
  • Conduct risk analysis using catastrophe risk modeling software, including data preparation and incorporation into the analysis workflow, querying databases and preparing reports.
  • Global exposure management for the company coordinating exposure data capture, validation, reporting, integration of centralized platform, and supporting event response analytics.
  • Validate vendor catastrophe models by benchmarking, sensitivity testing and assessing soundness of components and loss output; deliver results in detailed documentation and presentations.
  • Support Nat Cat accumulation analytics and propose approaches, tools, and methodologies.
  • Support vendor and information management function facilitating across Group Companies.
  • Collaborate with software development team to deliver solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years P&C insurance industry experience in catastrophe risk analytics.
  • Deep knowledge of probability, statistics and natural hazards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including documentation and presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and decision support skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Geospatial Analytics.
  • Programming skills a plus.
  • Project management skills and understanding of product lifecycle management a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
