RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and apply actuarial models to diverse client situations.
  • Lead projects involving development of Medicare Advantage and Part D bids.
  • Assist in training and management of staff.
  • Manage client projects and relationships.
  • Financial management of client relationship.
  • Assist in developing new business.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience.
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage bid preparations/desk review required.
  • FSA.
  • Technical proficiency in all aspects of health care actuarial practice including pricing, reserving, and data reporting.
  • Experience in prioritizing and completing multiple projects and tasks.
  • Strong communication skills including oral presentations and written reports.
  • Knowledge of and experience with all aspects of the health care market place.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and database applications.
  • High degree of self-motivation.
