  • A bachelor’s degree that includes actuarial sciences/mathematics.
  • Preferably a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries or the ASA designation on the path to becoming a Fellow.
  • 4 or more years of relevant work experience in the area of retirement, including preparation and review of actuarial assessment results.
  • Particular talent for analysis and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in teamwork and an ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • A solid understanding of pension fund investment, an asset.
  • Active listening and detail oriented.
  • Ability to learn, apply and communicate actuarial concepts both verbally and in writing.
  • Bilingual French/English.
  • Comfortable with computer tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
