RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform various calculations to establish mathematical provisions, capital needs, etc. for the products in effect and ensure that the data produced is complete and reliable.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining models for calculating reserves, capital, assessment assumptions, etc. Ensure that they meet the professional and legal standards in effect in the industry, and conduct monitoring in this area.
  • Ensure that actuarial needs are considered and met in developing new products.
  • Develop and maintain various study models, analyze results and produce the reports required by the organization or regulatory authorities.
  • Carry out various specific or periodic tasks or calculations required for the unit's activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of the unit's activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Studies.
  • At least one year of relevant actuarial experience.
  • Excellent grasp of SAS and VBA.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Client-focused.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Ability to make quality decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
