  • Responsible for Actuarial/Technical aspects of Experience Reporting and/or Pricing.
  • Extracts and integrates data from various databases to analyze and develop reports and spreadsheets.
  • Responsible to provide strong quantitative support for premium rate increases analysis or product management analytics.
  • Assist/oversee the development, maintenance and running of pricing and projection models.
  • Prepare rate filings and provide timely correspondence with states.
  • Prepare actual-to-expected studies and variance analysis.
  • Support policy lapse and claim studies.
  • Support preparation of quarterly LTC experience reports.
  • Support special projects impacting various business units in the Division.
  • Help design and then own implementation of process enhancements, including new technology tools.
  • Develop and mentor actuarial staff.
  • Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or other related field.
  • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
  • Strong analytical, computer, modeling and data mining skills.
  • High quality control.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Must be inquisitive and take ownership of work product.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks within time constraints.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with all levels within the Company.
  • Advanced Excel, Access and programming skills; VBA, R, or SQL a plus.
  • Experience with SAS a plus.
