RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide analytical support to catastrophe modeling team and internal stakeholders by sharing knowledge and information.
  • Provide modeling results and analytical support to underwriters, actuarial, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide data and analytics to support rating agency returns, regulatory filings, and reinsurance placements.
  • Use technical expertise to resolve basic catastrophe modeling and risk issues from internal and external sources.
  • Provide assistance for complex projects by collaborating with peers and utilizing recommendations and feedback to problem-solve and complete analysis.
  • Provide assistance for event response and GIS mapping.
  • Develop processes, scripts, and tools to facilitate data transfers and enhance new and pre-existing processes.
  • Understand division/business unit catastrophe modeling and risk management practices.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value “can do” people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun.
