  • Work with large Federal Government clients to model social systems to help with policy design, in areas such as welfare, education, health and justice.
  • Independently write client proposals and reports.
  • Research and present analysis to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Take responsibility for the project management on client engagements including the development of work plans, budgets and managing deadlines.
  • You will have proven actuarial experience in a similar environment together with strong consulting capabilities and the ability to communicate with impact.
  • You will have qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia or equivalent, or currently sitting final exams to attain qualification.
  • Have the ability to draft well-structured and persuasive reports suitable for a variety of audiences including government and industry.
  • You will have strong analytical / problem solving skills and the ability to evaluate a situation in a logical and methodological way, drawing meaningful insights and making suitable recommendations.
  • Strong analyst.

  • Demonstrate agility, flexibility, and are able to work in large and diverse teams on complex engagements where change is frequent.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders on complex topic.
